Police say 17-year-old Ramond Lawrence was arraigned in juvenile court Friday in connection
with the New Years Eve shootings and is held on $250,000 bail.
Police say there has been a flare-up of gang activity in the Portland area in recent weeks.
Gresham Police found Darius Perry and Willy Butler, both 18, of Portland, dead in the street
near an apartment building.
Butler is half brother to murder suspect Latwan Brown, wanted in a killing in a north Portland
church last month.
The three teenagers have known gang ties and were on parole supervision by the Oregon Youth
Authority.
