ALOHA, Ore. -- A body found in a Washington County field was identified as a teenager who had been listed as a runaway.
Oregon Medical Examiners identified the victim as 17-year-old Alejandro “Alex” Castrejon-Tovar, from NW Portland (pictured, left). His parents reported him as a runaway in May, 2007.
His body was found on a trail between TV Highway and Farmington Road Tuesday night.
Detectives on Friday said he was murdered.

A neighbor in the area reported finding a shoe and human foot just off the paved trail. Investigators brought in a specially trained canine, which later found the decomposing body about 30 feet from the foot.
Detectives say that animals likely scattered the remains.
A nearby resident found the discovery disturbing.
"I have my little kids who ride bikes on this trail, right here, so it's scary," Noah Wolfe said.
Deputies said a reward of up to $1000 was being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the killer.
