02:11 PM PDT on Friday, November 2, 2007
Detectives Friday released a sketch they hope will help the public identify a Rock Creek shooting suspect.
Police sketch of suspect.
On Sunday, October 14, Washington County sheriff's deputies responded to a shooting at 18850 N.W. Rock Creek Boulevard in an unincorporated area just north of Highway 26 in Washington County.
A 21-year-old man had been shot after answering his door and struggling with an assailant, said Sgt. David Thompson. The victim has been released from the hospital and is recovering.
The suspect was described as a red-headed man in his late teens or early twenties.
The sheriff's office is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the suspect’s arrest and conviction.
Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call the Washington County Sheriff's Office at (503) 846-2700.
