Hillsboro motorcycle police officer struck on Pacific Hwy.

SHERWOOD, Ore. -- A Hillsboro motorcycle police officer was hit by a passing motorist while conducting a traffic stop Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
The accident happened about 1:30 p.m. at Pacific Highway and Meinecke Parkway in Sherwood.
The officer, Clint Chrz, was treated on scene by paramedics and transported to Oregon Health & Science University Hospital via Life Flight Helicopter.
His injuries were believed to be non life-threatening, according to Lt. Mike Rouches with the Hillsboro Police Department.
