Head-on crash between dump truck, car in Aloha sends 2 to hospital

ALOHA, Ore. – Two people were hospitalized after a dump truck and a car collided head-on in Aloha Thursday morning, authorities said.

The crash occurred near the corner of 204th Avenue and Farmington Road about 11:30 a.m.
Crews arrived to find the two vehicles on the sidewalk and the 61-year-old driver of the Hyundai Azera lying on the ground next to the car. He was treated by emergency crews and transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
As a precaution, the truck driver was also transported to a hospital.
Before leaving the scene, crews placed material on the roadway to absorb the 50-yard oil slick resulting from the collision.
The crash is under investigation.
