TUALATIN – A husband and wife said they were beaten by a gang at Bridgeport Village last weekend after intervening when their son told them he was being followed at the outdoor mall.

Tualatin Police spokesman Brad King confirmed that a confrontation turned physical at the shopping area and involved both adults and teenagers. He said both sides suffered injuries and an investigation is underway.

According to the parents, their son called them for help after security guards advised him to just ignore the people following him.

Both parents arrived and told police they were attacked.
