Purse snatcher pepper sprayed victim in Hillsboro

HILLSBORO -- Detectives were looking for a purse snatching suspect who pepper sprayed his victim at a MAX stop.
It happened on March 2, 2007 about 9 a.m. at the SW 185th Willow Creek Light rail station, according to Washington County deputies.

The victim described the suspect as a man in his 20's wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt, and light colored pants. He had a trimmed beard and was about 6 feet tall and heavy set.
The victim told police she was sprayed with either mace or pepper spray, then the suspect made off with her purse.
Anyone with information was asked to call police.
