Fire torches two floors of Beaverton apartments

BEAVERTON -- Crews fought an apartment fire that went to three alarms Friday afternoon in Beaverton.
It started at the apartments on NW Westlawn Terrace at about 3 p.m. Tualatin Valley Fire officials said the fire spread to at least four units and was burning two floors.
Crews had the fire out just before 5 p.m.
There were no immediate reports of any injuries and the Red Cross was helping families displaced by the fire.
