12:10 PM PDT on Thursday, August 28, 2008
VANCOUVER, Wash. -- Firefighters rescued a woman from under an overturned golf cart Tuesday near Brush Prairie, according to a local newspaper.
The report in The Columbian said the woman somehow became trapped under the golf cart at The Cedars at Salmon Creek.
It went on to say that firefighters could not reach the woman in their truck. So they boarded a golf cart in order to rescue her near the 12th hole.
The 55-year-old woman, who was not identified, was transported to Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital with pain in both ankles, her right hand and her wrist, according to the Columbian report.
