Robber gets away after hitting downtown Vancouver bank

VANCOUVER, Wash. -- Police were looking for a bank robbery suspect who hit a downtown Vancouver bank Monday.
Vancouver Police said it happened just before 1 p.m. at the Wells Fargo on Main Street. Witnesses told police the man demanded money and then took off on foot with an unknown amount of cash.
No weapon was seen.

The suspect was described as a black man in his mid-20s, between 5'10"-6'0, weighing 200 lbs. and wearing a short-sleeved button-up plaid shirt, dark colored plaid shorts, a plaid or grey golf hat, white tennis shoes and wearing at least one earring in his left ear.
He was last seen heading eastbound on foot toward McLoughlin Blvd.
Anyone with information was asked to call Vancouver Police.
