PORTLAND, Ore. -- Portland police were looking for a man with dementia who left home without his medicine Wednesday.

David Robert King, 86, was last seen leaving his home on the 700 block of Northeast 151st Avenue Wednesday afternoon.

King's family said he should not be driving due to his medical condition. They were putting fliers around the metro area in hopes someone may recognize him.

King was described as a white male, 5’11”, 180 pounds grey hair, blue eyes, and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a green sweatshirt, black Levi pants, and black tennis shoes. His vehicle is a two-tone silver 2003 Dodge Dakota extended pickup with canopy with Oregon license ZRR431.

Family members said King sometimes visits friends in Vancouver near Vancouver lake and Blue Lake Park.

Anyone with information was asked to call police.
