Vancouver man found dead in crashed pickup

VANCOUVER, Wash. -- A Vancouver man was found dead in a crashed pickup truck that had run off the road Monday morning.
A Public Works employee found a damaged guardrail at the intersection at NE 179th Ave and NE 15th Avenue just after 8 a.m. Further down into a wooded area lined with damaged trees, the 2006 Dodge Ram was found with 44-year-old Robert Joseph Knott dead behind the wheel.

Investigators said Knott was last seen last Friday morning.
Deputies think speeding contributed to the crash, but were still investigating.
