The crime was committed at about 1:30 p.m., at Electric Beach tanning salon, located at 8606 E Mill Plain Boulevard.

The suspect implied that she was armed with a handgun during the robbery, police said. She left the location with an undisclosed amount of money.

She was described as having curly brown hair, looked approximately 30 years old, stood about 5’9’’ tall and was described as "chunky" by a witness. She was wearing sunglasses, a green shirt and blue capri style jeans.

The suspect fled the location in a white Ford Ranger single cab pick-up truck which was a late 1990s to early 2000 model. The vehicle had a black tool box, located directly behind the cab in bed of the truck.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to contact the Vancouver Police Department at 360-487-7500.
