C-TRAN rolls out new hybrid bus fleet

VANCOUVER, Wash. – Approximately 10 percent of C-TRAN’s buses now run on hybrid engines, The Columbian reported Tuesday.

According to the newspaper, the dozen new buses debuted Tuesday morning and are expected to burn at least 25 percent less diesel than the average fleet bus.
The 12 recently-delivered, 40-foot electric hybrid vehicles cost more than conventional ones.
