Vancouver police ask for help to locate missing man

VANCOUVER, Wash. -- Vancouver police say a man, believed to be homeless, has been reported missing and authorities need the public's help.

John Steven Sklany was reported as a missing person to Vancouver Police. Sklany was last seen on Thursday afternoon at the Share House in downtown Vancouver.
The 46-year-old is white, with brown eyes and gray hair. Sklany is about five-feet-seven inches tall and 140 pounds.
Sklany was last seen wearing a brown parka, gray jeans, and tennis shoes. Sklany is believed to be homeless and living on the street.
Anyone with information about Sklany or his whereabouts is asked to contact 9-1-1.
