Gunman opens fire at Vancouver bank, flees with cash

VANCOUVER, Wash. – A gunman fired shots at a Vancouver bank Tuesday morning before fleeing with an unknown amount of cash, police said.
The gunman “shot into the door,” according to Kim Kapp, spokeswoman for the Vancouver Police Department.
KGW report: Police hunt for robber
It happened at Northwest Navigation Federal Credit Union, located at 815 West Fourth Plain Boulevard.
The gunman apparently took one employee into a vault to retrieve money, Kapp said. It appears no one was injured.
Police closed area streets as officers searched for the suspect.
