Police are looking for an armed robber who went into a busy theater in Vancouver Wednesday night.

According to employees, about 8 p.m., a man in gray sweatshirt and blue jeans approached the concessions counter at Cinetopia.

Witnesses said the man held a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded cash. He threatened to shoot the clerk before getting away.

No one was hurt.

Detectives spent the day reviewing surveillance that shows the gunman approaching the counter just before the hold-up.

The robber got away with about $200.

The owner of Cinetopia said the luxury theater caters to adults, and in the three years it's been open, there's been zero crime.
