KALAMA, Wash. -- The City of Kalama’s water treatment plant eased water restrictions Monday after floodwaters plugged the water filtration system.
Officials tested the water to make sure it's safe before also lifting a boil order.
“We’re just getting too much silt from out pumping station into here and the plant is designed so that none of the dirty water will go through the plant will shut down,” Carl McCrary with the city of Kalama said.
The city brought in emergency water tankers tonight pump water to those homes without it.
