CORVALLIS, Ore. -- Surgeons worked to save a woman’s arm Friday after a farm accident near Corvallis.
According to the Gazette-Times, the Benton County woman was trapped by a tractor mounted auger while digging fence posts and one of her arms was severed.
Emergency crews were able to free 38-year-old Shelley Ann Durant and rush her to a Portland hospital where doctors were trying to reattach the arm, the paper said.
