Woman seriously hurt after being hit by van in Salem crosswalk

SALEM, Ore. -- Salem police said a 62-year-old woman suffered life-threatening head injuries after being hit by a van in a crosswalk Wednesday.
The accident happened at Lancaster Dr NE and Devonshire Ave NE when Linda Moe hit by the van, driven by 76-year old Donna Albertini.

Albertini told investigators she did not see anyone in the crosswalk at the time.
Moe was taken to Salem Hospital.
Police said Albertini was not hurt and cited for failure to yield in a crosswalk.
