That’s according to the Capital Press Agriculture News.
Oregon State Expo
The paper reports the state Parks and Recreation Department, hired a consultant to investigate claims of questionable behavior during the fair last week.
The department did not release details about the exact complaints.
Capital Press could not reach Koellermeier for comment.
He’s credited for saving the fair from extinction over the past few years. Koellermeier helped makeover the fairgrounds, started new entertainment venues and revamped bookkeeping rules.
Koellermeier also runs a farm near Wilsonville, Ore., where he raises livestock and grows Christmas trees, the paper said.
