Salem-area woman killed when car slams into tree

STAYTON, Ore. -- A Salem-area woman was killed and two other people were hurt when their car hit a tree on Highway 22E about four miles east of Stayton Thursday night.
According to Oregon State Police Trooper Andrew Goffrier the Honda Accord four-door driven by 24-year-old Martin Ramirez-Torres crossed the center line where the highway went from four to two lanes and hit a tree.

Passenger 18-year-old Audriana Marie Roldan died at the scene. Ramirez-Torres and another passenger were taken to nearby hospitals.
OSP continued to investigate.
