Two-year old falls from window of Salem home

SALEM, Ore. (AP) -- A two-year-old girl is hospitalized with serious injuries after she fell from a two-story window at a South Salem home.
Police say the toddler leaned against the window screen while talking to her brother in the yard outside and it gave way. The accident occurred about 7:30 p.m. Friday night.
The girl was taken to Salem Hospital and transferred by a medical helicopter to a Portland-area hospital.
On Thursday, a 2-year-old Canby child fell head from a second-story window and was taken to Legacy Emanuel hospital in Portland. On Tuesday, another child in Canby fell from a two-story window.
