Courthouse bomb threat suspect arrested in Salem

SALEM, Ore. -- A Willamina man was arrested for making a bomb threat that cleared out the Marion County courthouse Friday.
A call from the came in transit center came in just before 1 p.m. and police evacuated the building, according to deputies. No device was found.
With help from transit police and surveillance video, officers identified and arrested 40-year-old Jiy Travis Williams in a nearby alley.
He was charged with misuse of 911, disorderly conduct, making a false report, recklessly endangering another person, and parole violation.
