Salem kids attacked by dogs while walking home from school

SALEM, Ore. -- Police were looking for the owners of two dogs that attacked a group of kids walking home from school in Salem Friday.
Marion County deputies said a young pit bull and a lab mix bit the five kids near Meadow Park Loop.

Two of the children, ages 9 and 10 were taken to Salem Hospital for treatment and were expected to be OK, the three others had minor injuries.
Both dogs were contained and turned over to Marion County Dog Control, deputiess said.
Anyone with information in the case was asked to call sheriff’s deputies.
