Body found partially submerged in Salem ditch

The body of a 36-year-old man was found in a ditch in Salem Thursday.
Someone walking by found the body halfway submerged in water around 8:30 near 25th Street SE, according to officers.

Police identified the man as Shawn patrick Clarke. They suspect he overdosed, but an autopsy was pending.
No criminal charges were expected in the case.
