Salem convenience store robbed by armed man

SALEM, Ore. -- Marion County sheriff's deputies say a Plaid Pantry convenience store on Portland Road in Salem northeast was the victim of a reported armed robbery.
The suspect is described as a white male adult, about five-foot-six, 130 pounds and wore green coveralls, a black T-shirt, black baseball cap, and black gloves.
The man displayed an unknown type weapon and demanded money from the clerk, who was unhurt. The suspect fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
