GRESHAM, Ore. -- A suspected drunk driver rear-ended a police cruiser with his motorcycle early Friday morning, but no one was seriously injured, investigators said.

Dustin Roberts, 26, of Portland was operating the motorcycle that struck the officer’s car just before 2:30 a.m., near the intersection of 162nd and East Burnside in Gresham, police said.

Roberts sustained minor injuries and the officer was not hurt.

The motorcyclist was charged with DUII, reckless driving and criminal mischief.
