08:00 AM PDT on Tuesday, September 2, 2008
PORTLAND -- Someone fired a weapon at a TriMet bus in North Portland early Tuesday morning but no one was seriously injured, authorities said.
A window on the bus was cracked and investigators think the damage may have been caused by a paintball gun or slingshot.
Police said it happened just after 1 a.m., as the bus drove near the intersection of North Albina and Killingsworth.
