PORTLAND, Ore. -- A 28-year-old Gresham man was arrested in connection to a drive-by shooting that left three injured over the weekend, according to police.

Shawn Montgomery was arrested at the Townfair Apartments on Tuesday and charged with attempted murder and assault.

Police: Shooting over an argument

Detectives believe Montgomery shot two men and a woman in a drive-by near SE 160th Ave and Stark St. last Saturday morning.

One victim was shot in the stomach but all were expected to live. Police said they were acquaintances.

When police took Montgomery into custody they found a loaded handgun in the parking lot as well as ammunition in his pocket.
