Video catches shot of NE burglary suspect

Portland Police were looking for an accused burglar who hit two businesses in Northeast Portland in one week.
Detectives said on April 5, 2007 the suspect broke into the 102nd Street Market just before 5 a.m. Surveillance video at that market caught the suspect on tape, stealing cigarettes, candy and money from the register.
Then on April 8 the same suspect broke into Subway restaurant not far away on Northeast Sandy Blvd, where he made off with the cash box, investigators said.
Portland Police
He was described as a white male, possibly late 20's to early 30's, 5-foot-6 or shorter, with dark brown or black hair, bushy dark eyebrows. He carried a brown and black Adidas duffel bag and wore a dark colored backpack.
Crime Stoppers offered a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction. Call (503) 823-HELP.
