Leon Scott was arrested on murder charges.

Portland police arrested 28-year-old Leon James Scott after 49-year-old James Kenneth Miller was found shot to death near North Midway Avenue and North Columbia Boulevard earlier in February.

Detectives said they found evidence of drug trafficking and dog fighting after serving a warrant at the suspect’s home. Investigators also seized six pit bulls.

A Multnomah County Grand Jury indicted Scott for murder, drug possession and delivery charges, and one count of dog fighting.

Anyone with information in the case was asked to call Portland Police.
