Man from Sisters killed in crash

A man from Sisters was killed in a crash on Highway 237 in northeast Oregon Saturday, police said.

Investigators believe the van driven by Stephen Wariner, 49, was traveling southbound on Highway 237 near milepost 20 when it took a curve too wide, drove off the highway and rolled.
Wariner was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police said he was not wearing a seat belt.
Alcohol was being investigated as a contributing factor.
