About 1 p.m., Wayne Schjoll, 51, was riding a Honda motorcycle southbound on the highway when he was struck by a Chevrolet pickup, said Oregon State Police Lieutenant Gregg Hastings.
Pickup driver Jeremy Pollock, 28, was eastbound on Belmont Lane at the intersection with Hwy. 361 and was attempting to pull onto the highway when his pickup collided with Schjoll, Hastings said.
Schjoll was transported to the hospital, where he later died. He had been wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The investigation continues.
