The snow has ended in Portland after 1 to 3 inches blanketed the city. Morning temps are near freezing, leading to widespread icy conditions and likely a very slow commute. Look for partial clearing this morning, followed by afternoon clouds and possibly more snow tonight.
Current timing has snow showers arriving into Portland around 10 pm Wednesday night. A dusting to 2" will be possible into the morning hours of Thursday. Dry weather with increasing sunshine is expected Thursday afternoon.
Friday could see an early mix of wintry precipitation, but all should become rain fairly quickly as snow levels rise above 2,000' during the day. It will be all rain for the valley this weekend with heavy snow in the Cascades.
