Woodburn police continue search for man missing since Oct. 12

SALEM, Ore. — The Woodburn Police Department is still trying to find a man who was last seen more than two weeks ago.

Pedro "Pete" Munoz Morales, 58, was last seen by family members around Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017 according to Woodburn police. He was reported missing on Oct. 25. He is frequently in the Woodburn and Salem areas.

Surveillance video showed he was at the Fred Meyer on Market Street in Salem at about 7 p.m. on Oct. 13. The video showed Morales making a small purchase before leaving. He was wearing black pants, a red long-sleeve shirt with a half-zipper and a gray undershirt. He was also wearing light-colored shoes and a dark-colored beanie.

Munoz Morales is described as 5-foot-4 with a bald head and brown eyes. He weighs about 150 pounds.

He drives a red 2015 Chevrolet Sonic four-door hatchback with Oregon license plate 623JBB. His car was parked at the Rite Aid on 435 Liberty Street NE in Salem since Oct. 16 at 10 a.m. It was in the parking lot until Oct. 21 when it was towed by a private tow company.
