BEAVERTON, Ore. -- Beaverton’s first super food cart pod opened on Friday.
BG Food Cartel is located at 4250 SW Rose Biggi Ave., just across from City Hall.
The pod can hold more than 30 carts and offers German, Argentinian, Chinese and Italian food options, just to name a few. There’s also something you don’t often get with food cart pods—plenty of parking.
If you want to bring the family out, there’s a play area for kids. For the adults, there’s also a speakeasy bar with indoor seating.
“It’s exciting,” one customer said Friday evening. “I think it actually gives us an option in the afternoon and potential on the weekends when we’re this far out. I think it’s the thing Beaverton has been missing. It’s brilliant.”
Friday was a soft opening for BG Food Cartel. A grand opening celebration is planned for later this year.
