PORTLAND, Ore. – If you’ve ever wanted to be in a TV show, here’s your chance.
Netflix show American Vandal is filming its second season and they’re looking for paid extras. Lots of them.
Who are they looking for? Anyone you’d see at a high school: students, parents and faculty.
“Everyone may apply! All types, shapes, sizes, ethnicities, and abilities to reflect a real high-school look: braces, pimples, and all,” Background Casting said in a press release.
Shooting for the second season will start mid-February and last through March. Some filming will take place on weekends and during spring break.
An official with Background Casting said the demand for extras will depend on the day. Just 10 extras may be needed for some days while a couple hundred will be needed for others.
“We’ll need to a fill a gym and campus a few times,” the official said.
In addition to extras, the show is looking for stand-ins, athletes and vehicles. All positions pay at least $11.25/hour.
