PORTLAND -- The dazzling displays are lit and ready for revelers on Peacock Lane, which calls itself "Portland's Christmas Street."
Starting Thursday, visitors can see the lights from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. every night until New Year's Eve. On Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve the displays will remain open until midnight.
Peacock Lane is located one block west of SE Cesar Chavez Boulevard, between SE Stark Street and SE Belmont Street.

"The best way to see the lights is on foot," the Peacock Lane website suggests. "Park somewhere in the neighborhood and enjoy a stroll down the Lane. If you're driving, please beware of heavy traffic and limited access to the street by moving vehicles."
December 15 and 16 were "pedestrian only" nights.
Each house in the neighborhood has been decorated for Christmas since the 1920s.
