PORTLAND -- The Portland International Auto Show returns January 26, bringing 500 brand-new models to the Oregon Convention Center and showcasing eco-friendly and economic options.

A new exhibit called "Under $21,000/Over 35 mpg" focuses on models that fit into one or both of those categories to help consumers get more for their money.

The "ECO Center" returns for its second year, offering information on alternative fueled vehicles and the Oregon Dept. of Energy's Green Highway. Electrical contractors will be on hand to demonstrate home installation of car-charging stations.

The "Great Outdoors" exhibit is dedicated to the outdoor lifestyle and will feature a visit from KGW's Grant McOmie.

The show will also include healthy lifestyle demonstrations, an indoor "Ride & Drive," an aftermarket showcase, kids' activities and free childcare.

And the "Motorsports Pavilion" will feature the best in two-wheeled rides, along with snowmobiles, personal watercraft and more.
