Huge fireworks show to kick off Rose Festival

Fireworks will light up Portland's waterfront Friday night, during the Rose Festival's kick-off event that organizers described as one of Oregon's largest pyrotechnics displays.

The WaMu Fireworks Spectacular will blast and boom over the WaMu Waterfront Village, beginning at nightfall on Friday, June 1st.
It’s set to start at approximately 9:45 p.m. and admission is free outside of WaMu, or $5 for people who want a closer view inside the festival grounds.

This year's PGE/SOLV Starlight Parade takes place Saturday evening. Viewers can watch the parade on KGW-TV or live-streamed on kgw.com starting at 9 p.m.
