Lincoln High Princess crowned Rose Festival Queen
09:57 AM PDT on Saturday, June 9, 2007
The Rose Festival princess from Lincoln High School was crowned queen Saturday.
Elizabeth Larson was in tears after learning she had earned the top honor just before the start of the Grand Floral Parade.
Parade fans got a chance to wave at the new queen as she led the parade, riding on the first float, sponsored by McDonald's of Oregon and SW Washington.
The Rose Festival Queen was selected from all of the Court members from area high schools.
