Sports radio takes over FM Portland station

Claiming to be the only sports radio FM station on the West Coast -- 95.5 is getting a changeover from it’s Jammin' hip-hop music and variety format.

On May 12, Rose City Radio will launch 95.5 The Game.

It will host the Jim Rome Show from 9 until noon, along with broadcasts for the Trail Blazers, Seattle Seahawks and University of Oregon Ducks.

The weekday lineup will include local sports writers and sportscasters, as well as selections from partner FOX Sports radio.
