02:34 PM PDT on Monday, April 21, 2008
Portland’s 21st Annual Taste of the Nation celebration is set for next Monday night, April 28th at the Oregon Convention Center.
The city’s premier food and wine tasting event features more than 70 chefs and restaurants from across the region, along with over 40 local wineries and microbreweries.
The entire event is a fundraiser for local hunger relief agencies, including the Oregon Food Bank. 100% of the ticket sales and auction proceeds from the evening go toward the fight against hunger.
General admission tickets cost $75, with doors to the event opening at 6:30pm.
VIP tickets are available for $125, and come with early access to the food and wine beginning at 5:30pm.
For ticket information call 1-877-26TASTE or you can purchase tickets online.
Taste of the Nation Portland is an age 21 and over only event. More information is available at www.portlandtaste.org
