Oregon couple gets early wedding present from slot machine

EUGENE, Ore. -- A 31-year-old Eugene man says he and his fiancee got an early wedding present this week -- $856,000 from a slot machine.

Reed Zander says the jackpot from Three Rivers Casino in Florence will allow him and his wife-to-be to pay off their house, buy a new car and go on what he called a real vacation.

It's the second largest payout at Three Rivers since it opened in 2004.

A Florence resident claimed a slot machine jackpot of $1.3 million three years ago.
