Madison transforms into 'Vampire High' for movie

Vampire high at Madison

One Portland high school has turned into a Hollywood set this spring break.

The film crew took over at Madison High.

The crew of "Twilight" is shooting in and around Portland for the next month, transforming Madison into "Forks High School," a setting for the teenage vampire story.

Most of the extras are local teens -- who are getting a lesson that Hollywood isn't all glamour -- it requires a good deal of patience.

“Sat here for the last six hours pretty much doing nothing. We just started playing improv games in the last 45 minutes,” extra Amanda Oden said.

Film producer Wyck Godfrey is becoming a regular in Portland. It’s his second straight project to film in the Rose City.

The first, "Management" staring Jennifer Aniston, debuts in theaters this fall.
