PORTLAND -- Billed as one of Oregon's largest fireworks displays, the pyrotechnics show celebrating the Rose Festival’s opening night will light up the Portland waterfront with bold colors and cheering crowds.
The fireworks will begin at 10 p.m. on Friday, May 25, just after the sun goes down, at the Gov. Tom McCall Waterfront Park.
Spectators can expect some special features including explosions choreographed to music and family-friendly entertainment.The Curtis Salgado Band will warm up the crowds, starting at 8 p.m., followed by the Rose Lighting Ceremony at 9:45 p.m.
Admission is free for the fireworks show.
