Tipper, dog of the day

01:12 AM PDT on Wednesday, October 1, 2008

TIPPER, No. 66324, is the dog of the day from the Oregon Humane Society. Tipper is a 12-year-old Corgie and Newfoundland mix.

Tipper

Tipper is a one-of-a-kind cutie! She was diagnosed with diabetes while in our care and began treatment, which she has responded to very well. In the process, Tipper charmed everyone around her with her sweet disposition and gentle and quiet nature. She loves to play with stuffed animals and tosses them up in the air. She also enjoys being close to her person while in foster care and would make a perfect companion for a senior or someone who works from home. Tipper is a special needs dog because she receives insulin injections twice a day, but other than that she is a very easy dog, with a great temperament. She is eager to find a forever home where she can relax and enjoy her retirement. To make TIpper your best friend for life, please call the Oregon Humane Society at (503) 285-7722 or visit OHS at 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland. The adoption fee includes collar, leash, ID tag, ISO microchip, first shots, free vet exam, plenty of information, and for Oregon residents, one month of pet health insurance. All animals at OHS are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. This dog is subject to prior adoption. Visit www.oregonhumane.org for adoption details, hours, location, and photos of all the pets looking for homes.
