Shaka, dog of the day
05:52 AM PDT on Monday, September 29, 2008
SHAKA, No. 68874 is the dog of the day from the Oregon Humane Society. Shaka is a 10-year-old Rhodesian RIdgeback.
Shaka
Shaka is a sweet dog who will make a great companion. She is most definitely a lover and will even lay her head on your lap. She deserves to go to a good home where her owners will be home most of the time (she does not seem to like being left alone) and give her lots of love. She has a pretty good history with other dogs but has never been around cats. We highly recommend that Shaka not go home with cats. Shaka mainly lived outdoors in her previous home but she is ready to be inside with her family. She loves riding in cars and playing with anything that she can toss up and whip around! She is a great dog. To make Shaka your best friend for life, please call the Oregon Humane Society at (503) 285-7722 or visit OHS at 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland. The adoption fee includes collar, leash, ID tag, ISO microchip, first shots, free vet exam, plenty of information, and for Oregon residents, one month of pet health insurance. All animals at OHS are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. This dog is subject to prior adoption. Visit www.oregonhumane.org for adoption details, hours, location, and photos of all the pets looking for homes.
