Head over to Urban Strawberries and check out a simple way how to keep asparagus fresh longer. Just cut the ends off and place in one to two inches of water inside a mason jar. Then cover it loosely with a plastic bag. It works great for herbs including cilantro. Just another clever thing to do with mason jars!
